So....when chosing the right model, do you go for the fancy inside with the corinthian leather and 14 speaker surround sound (and maybe the drop-down plasma) and the coffeemaker?  Or do you opt for the pimpmocasket with the tricked out exterior with the spinners and the Thule rack?

Those look kind of expensive.  Why would people spend several thousands on them?

Wonder if the price will go up. may be I should consider getting one and save it for later use.  Everyone's gotta use one eventually, right?

You could just pick up a used bike box from your LBS. I bet most folks would fit.
