I think my hubby is going to do it as his first tri so I may just be down supporting. I've done it twice. This is a great race and gives you the go ahead to stuff yourself guilt free at Thanksgiving dinner

I have done it before. It's a good race. Nice pool. I will probably do it this year too.

I plan on having my feet up, my belly full and well into the process of pickling my liver on Thanksgiving day.

Good luck to everyone.

Ask Jerry, or look at the thread from last Sundays west side ride. That was a good ride.

Would this be a good race for a 12 year old?

I just re-read this posting. I don't see a link to this tri anywhere... can someone help a brotha out? I think I have also just about talked myself into the Anthem reverse Tri on 9/6. I will be going to a track near me tomorrow morning and running to see what my current state is on that.

I am not the fastest on the bike, but I am comfortable and I have completely fallen in love with swimming. The only part that I fear is my run. But with only 3.1 miles to go I suppose I could walk run the whole thing.

Any comments or suggestions?

Here....

http://www.trifamilyracing.com/Events/2004_events.htm

The printable entry form has all the info you need to know on it, so read that.  But I usually just register at Active.com

My suggestion. Keep at it bro. I hate running but you can look at my logs and I think I say that after every run. It doesn't get better. NO matter what the freaks that like running say. And with the bike you know someday you can be as fats as me. LOL If it wasn't for you I wouldn't have ever gotten into road bikes and thus never gotten into Triathlon. Keep at it you are doing great so far. I won't be doing that race but I will be there to chear you on. I will be doing the Thanksgiving day Tri though.

Your typing is attrocious...I don't know if I want to be as "fats" as you... is that a good thing or bad. Maybe i'll just order another desert and go home happy!

You know I love you right?
