Leduc triathlon club

Yes, still looking at starting a club. It is great that your daughter and her friend are interested in triathlons. Although at this point it will probably me more adult based as there is whole range of issues such as insurance, police checks etc. that we will not be equipped to deal with. 

My immediate goal is more for an exchange of information, weekly rides/swims/bikes. Hopefully to expand from there. I would suggest contacting Edmonton triathlon club for more info for your daughter.

We are getting some progress on it. We will probably not form a club to begin with but try loosely organize a group of like minded individuals for weekly bike rides, swims and runs. I have heard rumors of a sprint triathlon in Leduc next year.  There is also a gal that works for the city who has her coaching certificate....

No problem Steve. To start it will be more of an informal group of like minded individuals....that being said, I am going to try and setup a meeting in the next couple of weeks at the Leduc Recreation Center or somewhere. I will post here when date/time/place is finalized. In the meantime there is a great spin class at the LRC starting tonite at 6pm I believe. It is 1 hour of sweating! Not sure of the cost. Unfortunately I am at a meeting tonite at the same time but I hope to be there next week!
