Champion 26509 Sydney | Subject: Stay Puft Marshmallow Men Welcome to the March Challenge.... The mythical Stay Puft men seem to appear out of nowhere to regularly haunt the members of peep town. Their thundering footsteps through the town send everyone cowering until the disappear as mysteriously as they arrive

Elite 3913 far northern CA | Subject: RE: Stay Puft Marshmallow Men Hello fellow marshmallows! (Hmm. Not sure I like that.) Anyway, I'm Tracy (owl_girl). I'm from way far northern California on the coast. It rains A LOT here so I will be doing most of my cycling on the trainer. I do tons of Spinning classes, too. Those won't be added into my miles, though. (I feel like I'm cheating myself if I'm not sitting on my own bike seat! ) Let's get some serious GREEN on our charts!!!!! Looking forward to meeting everyone!!!! Cheers!!!! |

It gets old riding in the rain day after day. I hope my trainer gets completely wore out during this challenge so I can get a new one that doesn't suck as bad. |

Modesto, California | Subject: RE: Stay Puft Marshmallow Men Hey everyone! Looks like we could have an awesome team! Anyone from California? LOL! Will, need your help! I'm traveling to Ontario next week and need a couple of recommendations of good places to swim. I might stay in Ontario or Rancho Cucamonga. The hotel pools I know of are way too small. |

Veteran 224 Denver | Subject: RE: Stay Puft Marshmallow Men Hi everyone - my goal for March is less about posting big numbers in terms of time/miles/km, but more about following doctors orders - sigh! So here's what I'm supposed to do: 20min on the trainer every 3rd day. If I counted right, that will get me a whopping 220 min by the end of the month - woohoo! I might be able to increase that goal in a couple of weeks, we'll see. Happy cycling everyone! |

Modesto, California | Subject: RE: Stay Puft Marshmallow Men Day 1 everyone, LETS GET BUSY! LETS DO THIS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! For those who will be outside allot: BE SAFE: Watch for nails and debris(rain washes onto road during winter). Ride with partner or group if possible. Be a defensive rider! BE SAFE: Stretch. Hydrate. Don't get sick or injured. We win this as a team! BE SAFE:Do a good check to make sure bike is in good shape, skewers tight, wheels aligned, brakes not rubbing, cables adjusted, good fit, and tires in good condition! If not sure make a quick trip to Bike shop and tell them they need to do a quick tune up and have 15 min to get you back on the road. Please ask any questions if you need help! Be Safe:Above all enjoy the road, avoid what I do like wiping out on railroad tracks and getting stung by bees. Make this an opportunity to improve your riding skills! Good luck to everyone! |

Expert 1112 I'm a Tennessee girl living in SoCal. | Subject: RE: Stay Puft Marshmallow Men Hey team! My name is Melissa and I'm another Cali girl. I live in Anaheim. I'm actually still just learning to ride a bike (yes, I never learned as a child ), so my goal is 6 hours in the saddle for the month. It will be a combination of on my bike outside, spin class, and trainer time. I actually almost skipped this challenge when I saw it was for biking. I ended up deciding that since I've participated in the challenges each month for the past 5-6 months since I joined the board that I might as well keep the streak going. Heck, this might even actually motivate me to stop talking about learning how to ride and actually get it accomplished this month. LOL |

Elite 3913 far northern CA | Subject: RE: Stay Puft Marshmallow Men Went on a nice little 18 mile ride today. (I was going to do a time trial this morning but the weather sucked.) I managed to run over a long piece of barbed wire strewn across the road from the torrential rains this morning and last night. Thank goodness I didn't get a flat! Well, I guess I'll find out tomorrow if I have a slow leak. I'm excited to get to know all of you! Cheers to a great weekend everyone! |
