New user 7 |  Subject: Woodlands RIDE- Any takers?Hello out there! There is a small group of us ladies (beginners) who are doing rides on Wednesday night meeting at the Woodlands area YMCA. It is a nice ride, about 16-18 miles. Let us know if you are up for it!

Just as you suspected Erin (your so smart!) the fit is all wrong too.. SO- It won't be ready on Wednesday My Tri is on Sunday (Go Ironbabe!) so I will be practicing on Thursday night. Do you guys want to try to meet then? OH- I also had them put on cages, maybe that will help with my granny pace? LOL! See ya'll soon! Laurie |

Laurie Bummer you won't make it out this week - but it is definitely worth missing a week to get your bike fixed up. I can't believe a new bike has that much wrong with it! I'm so glad you took it to Bike Lane. They will take good care of you. The cages should help, but the fit will make the most difference. We won't be able to keep up with you! I'm still planning to go out Wednesday with some newer women. Best of luck this weekend - I want to hear all about it on our ride next week! |

I'm so glad you took it in before the race. I bet your excited. I didn't enter the race, but I'm going to go and check it out. I'll be on the sidelines cheering you on! If so, I'm the one that was swimming in your lane and talking with you at the end. Small world. Hope everything works out and you get of the waiting list. It's all starting to click and I reduced my strokes from 23 to 18 from that one class! If you an ever make it up here, come ride with us. It's a lot of fun! Kelly

| New user 7 | Subject: RE: Woodlands RIDE- Any takers? Hey yall! WELL, what a nightmare! Had to take the bike back to Performance for a brand NEW one since mine was so messed up... Anyway, took it out for a bit tonight and the fit makes an AMAZING difference, so do the cages. I feel like I am not so winded I have to rest up Friday (just some light running, few miles or so at 10 mph pace) and zero on Sat. I am also bodybuilding so I work shoulders/abs tomorrow. Legs is usually on sat. but I am NOT doing it this week! Thanks for all the motivation ladies! Hope I can make it next week! Laurie |

I knew the fit would make a difference, but I can't believe you had to get a whole new bike! Ladies, tomorrow night's ride will leave at 6:15 from Terramont Park in The Woodlands which is closer to Woodlane, possibly allowing us to get in 3 loops before having to race the sun back. Let me know if you need directions. Hope to see you out there! |

Let's meet at the corner by Becky Lane. ie: Go into Woodlane, make a right and then let's turn right on Becky and hopefully we can park there. I really am not sure where to park otherwise. Especially with not knowing which streets are currently lit, I want to meet in Woodlane rather then the Woodlands. |
