Bummer....if we had Team BT set up before I registered for Northeast I might have leaned toward this race.

I'll be there volunteering.  A broken wrist is keeping me from competing until sept/oct time frame.

I'll be there too! Its my first ever triathlon (or race of any kind for that matter) if anyone has any advice I would love to hear it.

Awww, yyeeeeahh... Just reserved my room at the Sleep Inn Newark. This is shaping up to be the summer of jet-setting through the budget hotels of Delaware.

I have also reserved a room at the Newark Sleep Inn.  If anyone is interested in going up the night before and going halves, ive got a double.

So I'm thinking of heading up early Saturday for a nice slow pre-ride of the course and a swim in the lake... Anyone else going up Saturday?

Packet pickup is 9-12, and I'm not exactly going to be charging for the 7AM departure, so I was thinking closer to 11-12 to pick up my packet.  Looking at the map of the lake it might/should be possible to sneak a swim at the race site, but I don't think it's a guarded/designated swim area. I'd probably do that first, then depending on how hot it is during the day, etc. I might ride right after the swim or wait till it cools off in the evening. I'm flexible.

im currently in North Carolina and wil be driving back tommorow.  Will Plan on being at packet pick-up around 1130-1200.  We'll hook up there and play it by ear.....sound good?

Race photos are finally posted... Nothing better than having a really good pic of a really good ride... The Piranha guys seem to consistently take better photos than the Sportography people...
