Member  47  Warren, MI |  Subject: Island Lake of Novi Triathlon in one week!Hello everyone! You all have been so helpful with preparing me for my first triathlon and now it is almost here--next Sunday, August 16. I am having pre-race gitters a bit and was wondering if there is anything special I should or should not do the week before the race. Also, I was wondering if any of you will be out there doing the race too? Thanks for all the support and I will definitely update about how it goes!!!!!!! I am hoping for NO RAIN, but we will see! Extreme Veteran 422 | Subject: RE: Island Lake of Novi Triathlon in one week! I have done that race, three yrs in a row now (or was it 4?) anyhow. Not doing it this year. Fallen completely out of shape (rode my bike once this year). Anyhow, good race. Have fun. New run course this year, all the way around the lake, not an out and back. (also a bit longer). Do the bike drop off on Sat. and before you do Ride the course if you have not yet. Just relax and have fun. |

My sister and I are both doing it for the first time, and she lives in Atlanta, so not only do we get to experience this together, but we get to get some time together too!!!!!! |
