Subject: RE: Sports BrasI was not sure what a halter top was. I was picturing a tube top. But there is a difference....I think.
I found this:
"What is the difference between a tube top and a crop top? Tube tops would generally be shoulder less and could also be strapless.. hence the name “boob tube”. However a tube top could also have small straps over the shoulders. A tube top could be tight fitting hugging the contours of the breasts or it could be more blousy with a ruff around the top and underside. The tube top would also be short revealing the midriff that could be just covering the breasts, actually more like a bra or swim top. A top extending further down below the breasts could also be classified as a tube top but then it would not have straps. If it has any straps it would be evolving into a Crop Tank Top or Crop Halter Top.
OK then, I still have no freakin' idea what a crop tank tube halter top is!
More on women's fashion. My wife and I were walking somewhere and saw a woman that was at least 400 lbs on the hoof. She was wearing skin tight leotards that and skin tight top that, unfortunately, left nothing to the imagination. I told my wife, it's funny how our generation dressed/dresses to hide our obesity with oversize/baggy and dresses but the younger generations seems to want to flaunt their fat. As if to say, "Look at how fat I am! I don't care that you think I am a walking heart attack, I am proud to have 2 butts!" Oh well, to each his/her own. I just smile and try not to chuckle as they waddle past. |
