Subject: City of Perth Triathlon
With only a month to go before the City of Perth triathlon, I am feeling a little anxious about the swim, as you can probably guarantee that it will be no wetsuits allowed.

Anyone else feel nervous? I am not a strong swimmer and will probably just stick to the side or behind someone. I did the sprint there last year and the sun was a killer, couldn't see where you were going.

I did this race last year, my first olympic dist...the swim wasn't too bad, the whole way back you can stand up if you have to (not that you would want to, it's grose...very sinky)

If its anything like last year, the run will be a killer, very hot by that time of day, even worse with the sun reflecting off the road.

The bike is ok, head wind one way but tail wind the other, you can do 40km/hr out and about 14km/hr on the way back.

Having said all that, it was good race and has a prety good atmosphere.
