Log "Special Date" color???

I've got some places that I'd like to refer back to in my comments, from my logs, or maybe key dates that I broke records, but don't show up in any special color because it's not special to the logging system.

Would it be possible to have a box that we could check to flag the day so it would make the date the color black (or a color that really stands out) so it's easy to referance back to the date? And to add to this, if the box is checked, all the details for that date show up in the calendar view?

Or maybe there is a better way thats already possible to do this that I didn't know about?
