I didn't do Kansas but did do Austin last year. The swim course is nice with the run up to transition about 200 yards. The roads are in very good condition with a few rolling hills in the mid portion of the ride and 2-3 big hills at the finish. The run portion is on road for approx. 70% of the race mostly flat with some rolling hills but the rest is in a wooded area with one long hill climb during this section. The course is good and pretty fast but the heat is what will be the real problem if it is like it was last year. By the run it was mid to high 90's. Great support and aid stations.
