Subject: Hi...AGAIN!
Ok first the history. I was a member here a couple of years ago did a sprint distance in Chicago and in Michigan, a couple of 5K's and even one 10 miler. The last 5K I pulled a hamstring, did the 10 miler anyway as well as the sprint in Michigan. Both of the last two events were a new experience in pain with every step.

That was over a year ago and I decided to take some time off to heal, big mistake. In the mean time I gained about 30 lbs in that year, during my training days I was ultimately down to 219 lbs. Now I'm up to 262 and starting all over again. I just went back to the gym last week and am still in the start up phase where I'm taking it easy and just trying to get my body used to exercising again.

Now the goals, they say if you publicly declare your goals you are more apt to stick with them so here goes.

In one year I will compete in the Chicago Triathlon, International distance, and finish in the top 50% of my age group. I will do this at least 70 pounds lighter than I am now and most importantly I WILL BE INJURY FREE.

Well there we go, I'm back and ready to start again.
George
