Subject: Improving bike and run
I did my first Sprint yesterday and I noticed that I really need to shed some time on my Bike and Run. Does anyone have any suggestions? I was thinking about using the bike at the gym, but I don't know if that's a good idea... I have an olympic coming up in November, and I'd really like to knock some time off! Any advise is much appreciated!!!

First off, I see this is your first post so welcome to BT.  This site offers a training log that will help you track your workouts.  I suggest using it.  It will provide you some insight to your progress and also help others to answer questions you have about your workouts and questions like the one you are asking.

Generally speaking I'm not sure you can expect to increase your performance greatly between now and November.  That simply isn't much time.  However, I would say to ride outside, instead of at the gym.  Riding an exercise bike at the gym will work when there is no other option, but is really a poor substitute for the real thing.  If you are not following a specific training program for your up coming race, I'd suggest you start.  There are tons of training plans out there including ones on this site.  Good luck!
