Subject: Thoughts and/or opinions on Felt B16
Looking for some opinions/input on this particular bike. I happened to see a guy riding one the other day...very sharp-looking bike. I just signed up to do my first HIM next July, so there may be a new bike in the distant future for me. How does the B16 compare to it's Cervelo or Kuota counterparts (whichever models that may be)??? I couldn't find any pricing on this bike...does anyone know what range this bike falls in?

I looked very hard at this bike and actually had one reserved for me.

It's priced at $2299. It's the same frame as the B12 with less aero wheels, lower grade (cheaper) drivetrain components, and a basic aerobar setup. It's the same story as the B2 and DA, same frame design, lower grade carbon, and no bayonet fork. For the price, it's a great value as an entry level carbon tri bike.

For me, there were too many components that I wanted to upgrade, which pushed the price of that bike way too far to make it a smart choice. I ended up putting a deposit down on a frame further up the Felt food chain. I have never actually seen the bike. I happened to be in my LBS when the Felt rep was in about six weeks ago. Nothing had been released officially yet, but he had a picture an the component spec. If I didn't have the kind of time I did to think it out, I'd be riding the B16 today.

Read reviews on the B12, since it is so similar, and check out this article:
