Subject: Beer Run!
I know some of ya all are going to want to do this. I'm so not in.... But, I'd come watch ifa anyone else is gonna do it.
 
This fun event is in it's third year.  This event is NOT associated with Race Day Events, Fleet Feet Sports or any other entity.  This is an unofficial, fun only event.
 
This year's BEER MILE will be held November 1st at 3:00pm in the Madison area.  Please e-mail Ryan Griessmeyer at [email protected] for more information including location.
 
This is a B.Y.O.B. event and official rules can be found at www.beermile.com.
 
Last year's event had approximately 20 competitors with a winning time of 6:37.  That's 4 beers and one mile of running in a quick 6 minutes and 37 seconds.
 
Relays are accepted and encouraged.  This year a special prize will be given to the person posting the fastest time following the official rules.
