Finally...World champions, again since 1980...won at home...series is over...now I can more than 4 hours of sleep for my Tue./Thur. AM swims.

I can't flippin' believe it!

I've had my heart broken so many times since 'Nova won the NCAA tournament. It doesn't help that since I've moved out here to San Diego the Chargers, Padres have not come through in the big games just like the Eagles, Sixers, Flyers and Phillies.

Watching those last three outs, I was brought back to 1980 as a 10 year old boy watching Tug McGraw close out the WS for those Phillies. I don't say this often, but I wish I could be back in Philly right now.
