Run
Comments: Having not run much for the last two months, I didn't really have a goal in mind. Plus, doing the low heart rate training whenever I was doing my sporadic running, I wasn't expecting much performance wise. I didn't disappoint myself, as it was a rather weak performance, slower than last year's time. As a rather funny aside, because I'm doing the low heart rate training thing I had my Garmin set to audibly alert when my heart rate exceeded 150 bpm. Needless to say, it started alerting about 100 meters into the race, and continued beeping the entire 3.11 miles Ugh. What would you do differently?: Run more. Post race
Warm down: The weather was so nice that I actually hung around this year and watched them give out the awards. What limited your ability to perform faster: The fact that I only ran a total of 19 miles in October and 16 miles in November. Last updated: 2007-11-19 12:00 AM

Left my parents' house at 725 and got to the race site at 740. Had plenty of time to pick up my packet, put on my race number and drop my packet off back at the car prior to the race. This was a far cry from last year's race where I arrived at the site 4 minutes prior to the start of the race, and had to frantically rush and barely got to the starting line before the gun went off.
Jogged from the site back to the car to drop off my packet and then back to the site again.
