Update on neice with tumor

Thank you everyone for including Yvette in your prayers and thoughts. She was released yesterday, Tuesday, from the hospital. The brain tumor is remaining due to the location and the high risk of permanant damage that could be done if removed. The shunt was removed also. She will be monitored with an MRI every 2 months and will see a cancer specialist... apparently the type of tumor she has right now is benign but has the potential to became cancer so she will seek advice from an oncologist and may undergo radiation or chemo, that will be decided next week. Her parents have been advised to seek the ER treatment immediately if her original symptoms of headache return or vision becomes blurry... and at that time the tumor may be removed but the risk is high and the specialists want to try and wait and see.
