You could do very well with using one of the more challenging Oly plans, then using the HIM bridge. However, with the timing of the Oly so close to the HIM, and the HIM plans being more specific to HIM, I would personally consider doing the HIM plan from the outset (20 weeks out). Even the beginner one contains 7-10 hours/week training, and that's pretty considerable. What kind of training or plan are you planning to do until the start of the plan you choose? That's just as important, in order to build a good base for the upcoming season. |
