Subject: RE: what size bike$? Go to your local bike shop and tell them you want to be fitted for a bike. If they look at you like your stupid when you ask, run out the door. Most Bike shops can measure you in a matter of minutes to tell you the frame size you need. Then if you are thrifty, you can pick up a good used bike cheap that is the correct frame size. Then most bike shops will do a fitting for 50-150 dollars but is not necessary. You can tinker with seat height, etc yourself. Just make sure you get a bike that fits you, if you don't it will tend to be uncomfortable.
