Route Elevation

Periodically, when I create a new route, the elevation shown is grossly exaggerated.  For instance, (if you have access to my route manager) my new route "Lake Rd with Jacob's Ladder is shown to be in excess of 12% and 13,000 ft gain.  The the graph shows the error to be in within the first few point on the route map.  I can't imagine what I am doing wrong.  Thanks for checking it out.
