Subject: Littleton Appleman or Amesbury Powow
Trying to decide between these two races next month.  I live in Lowell so the distance is about the same to each race.  The one in Amesbury looks a lot better, but of course it's more expensive.  $88 is a lot of money for a sprint IMO.

Anyway, have any of you done one or both of these races in the past?  I'm looking for advice on which one to pick.  Thanks.

I have no advice as I've done neither, but I understand your dilemma as I'm from Dracut and had the same question as you.  I finally decided on the Powow for no other reason than I'm inpatient and the Powow is a week earlier.  I've been in a few races, but only as a relay member.  This will be my first race going solo.  Maybe I will see you there.
