Southern Louisiana

I headed down to Lafayette this weekend not for triathlon but for the Vuelta de Acadiana stage race.  I always thought that the east Texas area had it bad for heat and humidity, but you all that live and train down here are INCREDIBLE!  I could not believe the weather.  Kudos to all of you that tough this weather out all summer long.

And I also should say that the people put on a high quality race with great support.  It seems every person we ran into was very nice and helpful.
