Subject: Trek Women Triathlon
I'm moving to NYC next week and thought it would be fun to do the Trek Women Triathlon on Long Island.  I'm from Seattle and am used to throwing my bike in my car the morning of and driving to a race.  How does this work when you're living in the city with no car?  Stay at a hotel the night before or hit up the train at the crack of dawn?  I'd appreciate any advice!

You can take the Long Island Rail Road to Hempstead or Westbury on Saturday for the expo. If you have a Backpack Tri bag you could ride to the Expo at the Hotel which is about 4 miles from Westbury or 2 -3 from Hempstead. You may be able to take a taxi but you may have to partially disassemble your bike for that.

By the way the race is very flat there are no hills there. Welcome to NY big dif Seattle-NY.
