stupid question about pedals

Extreme Veteran  3177    |  Subject: stupid question about pedalsAs I am looking to get a new bike this winter (hopefully!) I am also looking into pedals. Now I am just assuming that when I get my bike and purchase my pedals/shoes...the cleats come with the pedals right? Or are those something I need to buy independantly. (its a budgeting question, like most things it all comes down to money!) I have not decided what brand to go with yet but in consideration are Speedplay, Shimano, and possibly Look. |

Pro 6767   the Alabama part of Pennsylvania | Subject: RE: stupid question about pedals Yes, the cleats come with the pedals. The cleats you see for sale in the LBS are to replace the originals. I haven;t used Speedplays, but I use Look with a more walkable cleat that has rubber on it. Prevents the skating effect when I stop for a drink at the local quickie mart. |
