Subject: new picture - too big

I've been trying, very unsuccessfully, to get a new picture in for my avatar.  BT keeps telling me it's too big.  I cropped it, tried going to irfan, can't figure that site out - how to 'resize'.  Any easy suggestions?

Go into your program that you use for pictures on your computer.  I sized my down to 80 x 100 pixels to make it fit as my avatar.  I keep the ones in my photo albums a little larger.  You should be able to change the size, save it in an avatar folder and then you can add pictures as you take them sizing them down and keeping them in the folder so you know they will work when you decide to change it.  Hope this helps.
