Walked first mile because I was in the Run/Walk portion and then ran the rest at 1mi mark because it had thinned out by then.
What would you do differently?:

Do the actual Run portion to see if I can run the whole thing.

Those races are a lot of fun, aren't they (but I do get a little choked up at the folks running in memory of someone). Great job and thanks for supporting a great cause.
