Pre-race routine:

peanut butter sandwich, cup of coffee, two multi-vitamins, two anti-oxidants, and two aspirin.
Event warmup:

got a little lost on the way there, still arrived in plenty of time. we checked out the transition area, and walked down to the start of the canoe. took a short run once we got all the paddles and lifejackets out.

river was down, and we actually ran aground once. Had to get out and push us off, which made for a wet run.

I felt like I had a terrible run. Didn't have it in me. It was the first time this year that I had seen Humidity, and it was in the 90's by the time the run started
What would you do differently?:

Drink more water on the canoe leg

drank a bunch of water, stretched a little but not enough. then ate some lunch

What limited your ability to perform faster:

the run for sure.

good time race. great company, just a lot of fun.

sounds like a fun race-your bike leg looks great!  I moved from Yellow Springs, OH 2 years ago, so I'm familiar with that area, but not the race....whereabouts was it?
