Hard Current! A lot of people ignoring the bouys and walking on the bottom. Just a hairy mess!

Swim more leading up to the event.

I was hurting. Was proud that I finished without walking. Felt slower than my time. And my time wasn't great.

Warm down:

Walked around, found a bathroom, wrapped towel strips soaked in ice water around my neck, drank water and ate oranges.

What limited your ability to perform faster:

Getting over the stomach flu from earlier in the week. But the bottom line was I didn't train. I just kind of did it cold. Now I have a building block to work off of.

Great job. Especially the run. Without training those are awesome times!! I thought about doing that race, but it was too soon after Madeira Beach. Welcome to BT.
