Comments: Hard Current! A lot of people ignoring the bouys and walking on the bottom. Just a hairy mess! What would you do differently?: Swim more leading up to the event. Maybe walk too. ![]() Transition 1
Comments: Calm and deliberate. Legs were like jello after the swim. Could not run even if I tried. What would you do differently?: Nothing ![]() Bike

Comments: Could have speed up a bit but I was dreading the run and trying to take a breather befor the run! What would you do differently?: Have my shoes prepared for a faster on. ![]() Run
Comments: I was hurting. Was proud that I finished without walking. Felt slower than my time. And my time wasn't great. ![]() Post race
Warm down: Walked around, found a bathroom, wrapped towel strips soaked in ice water around my neck, drank water and ate oranges. What limited your ability to perform faster: Getting over the stomach flu from earlier in the week. But the bottom line was I didn't train. I just kind of did it cold.
