Subject: Garmin HRM Question

Hi All,
I currently own a Garmin Edge 305 with a HRM that I use on rides and a Garmin Forerunner 205 that I use on runs. I recently wanted to start tracking HR on my runs, so I went out and got a cheap HRM, which has been giving me all types of problems. The solution I've come up with is to sell my Forerunner 205 and the cheap HRM and get a Forerunner 305 due to it's HRM capabilities. My question is, will I need another HRM strap or will the strap that came with the Edge 305 work with the Forerunner?

That strap will work just fine... Garmin uses the same strap for FR305, Edge305, 310XT, Edge500, Edge 705 and maybe some others that I don't know of... basically, if you have a Garmin strap from any of their products, you're very likely fine.
