Correcting Equipment mistakes

Is there a way to correct mistakes in the name/description of items in the equipment tracker? 

Say (hypothetically) that I guessed the model of some Asics shoes as "676" and for once in my life, was wrong (they're TN626).  Personally, I can live with the permanent record showing I made a mistake, but since the site can associate equipment, it makes sense to be able to correct something like this rather than have my data corrupting legitimate Asics 626 shoes (if they exist).
