Comments: still to cold when i got in pool. managed to pace myself much better, but by end of 3 laps was feeling a little winded. felt like i was getting into it by lap 5. What would you do differently?: warm up you foolish girl! ![]() Transition 1
Comments: feet got stuck pulling on my shorts. no problem getting shoes on. Ran in bare feeet from pool to T1, think that helped. What would you do differently?: Easier to put on bike shorts. Maybe shorter, so they aren't so hard to pull up. ![]() Bike
Comments: my legs got very tired very quickly, the hills seemed to kill me and i had no energy. i think i convinced my self very early on that i was doing poorly and so i did. What would you do differently?: better overall attitude. don't worry if people pass you, don't let it get to you. ![]() Transition 2
Comments: had a hard time racking my bike, took much longer then it should have. not sure why. just used race belt, no t-shirt. worked well. What would you do differently?: practice racking bike quickly ![]() Run
Comments: wow, broke the 30 minute mark. felt good about the run. first mile was hard, felt like i was going real slow, but managed to keep it up. passed people in the second half. managed to real sprint last tenth of a mile. What would you do differently?: need to sprint sooner, over all pace faster. ![]() Post race

had pizza night before, went to bed early.
jumped up and down alot, tried to strech. ran in place for a couple minutes. i know i could have done a heck of a lot more to warm up.
