Subject: Tri-Diva triathlon desperately needs volunteers

The race is May 15 - I'm registered so can't volunteer. It's a wee try-a-tri - 250m swim, 9K bike, 2.5K run. I got an email today that they are desperate for volunteers:

RACE DAY VOLUNTEERS STILL NEEDED!!!

The success of the triathlon relies heavily on volunteer support to keep the race costs low and maintain a fun and safe race. All volunteers are treated to a free meal with the athletes after the triathlon and chances to win great draw prizes. Volunteers must be over 15. Families and friends can be assigned together. We will need people to help with:

*RACE DAY course set-up and tear down Set-up start time: 6:00AM - 8:00AM, Tear down time: 11:00AM - 2:00PM

*timing back-up (2 more spots needed) Times: 8:00AM - 1PM

*pool lap counters (3 more spots needed)- Times: 8:00AM - 11:45PM

*bike and run course marshals **NEEDED** Times: 8:30AM-noon

No previous volunteer experience necessary - just a smiling face! It is a great chance to cheer on the ladies!
