Subject: Propero Helmet, other suggestions?

My wife has this helmet, and I'm in need of a new one.  I tried my size on the other day and it seems to fit just fine.

Anyone have any thoughts about this helmet, or have any other suggestions in the $100 range?

The Specialized Propero is a nice helmet.  As long as a helmet meets CPSC and Snell codes, the most important thing would be how it fits and feels.

Out of brand loyalty I've always worn Bell helmets.  I currently have a Bell Alchera that I bought at Nashbar.com.  They often  will have some good sales going on.

I buy a new helmet about every three years and then use my old one as a back-up.  I usually just give away the older ones.  Just remember that you should always discard a helmet if it's damaged or has been in a crash.
