54cm Mercier columbus alum frame + carbon fork $200

Up for sale is a Mercier 54cm road frame and fork.  The frame is made of Columbus zonal aluminum and the fork is a Mercier-branded carbon fork.  The frame is about 3lbs and the fork is probably 500 grams.

The frame has never been ridden (it was parted out), and it is in near-mint condition with just a slight scratch on the inside of the fork and a minor blemish on the inside of the chain stay.

Measurements according to Mercier are: top tube, 54.9cm; seat tube, 54cm. Steerer tube is 1 1/8, seat post is 27.2.  The head tube is a bit short, but the bike takes a non-integrated headset so that brings the measurement into less-aggressive range (head tube is 11cm, but with the headset it is 14cm). There are 5 cms of steerer tube above the headset (including 2.5 cm of spacers).

The bike has a headset on it, but it is defective: it consists of two bottom cups and needs to be replaced.  A new, non-integrated headset will cost $25-$30.
