Subject: Wetsuit
For my first triathlong, they suggest a wetsuit. The water is about 65 degrees. Is one really necessary? I only have one from surfing, will that do? It's a shortie, or should i try to fit into my brother's full suit? Or should I just go in my swimsuit? Ah- I'm so confused about this wetsuit business!

65 degree water is pretty cold. i would recommend using a wetsuit. a wetsuit that doesn't fit really good is no good to you it will allow water in at all the seams. see if you can rent a wetsuit somewhere or wear your surfing wetsuit. a wetsuit does 3 things #1 keeps you warmer #2 keeps you on top of the water #3 makes you faster. it will do none of these things if it doesn't fit correctly.
