Comments: New PR in the 400!!!! Beat the old by 2 min 3 sec. What would you do differently?: Nothing Transition 1
Comments: Had to wait two minutes for a bike (included in T1 time) other wise o.k. Still need work on putting on socks with semi-wet feet. I can't go without socks. What would you do differently?: Nothing...just needed a bike to be available. Bike
Comments: Thought I was pushing hard, but a poor time compared to the field and my AG. What would you do differently?: Push harder!!! Transition 2
Comments: Ran upstairs to the indoor track. Run
Comments: I really think I ran one lap too many. No matter though...I still felt strong enough to do 2 more miles at least. What would you do differently?: Run faster!!! Post race
Warm down: Stretching, walking, oranges slices and a bagel. What limited your ability to perform faster: 40 extra pounds!! Event comments: My first race since knee surgery 4 months ago. Passed the test with flying colors. As usual, I was the tallest guy there (6'7"). When I left the pool, I was handed a towel by a guy wh was about 6'6" or 6'5". No reason and he didn't do it for anyone else. Just tall guys sticking together I suppose. Talked to him post-race and found out he had ACL surgery 5 months ago and this was his first big test too. He nad his fiance both did this race. Just a nice guy. Love triathletes, what a great bunch of people. Made a lot of friends today. Last updated: 2006-03-18 12:00 AM
