Comments:

Nice small race organized by Whirl-a-round. It only had about 100 people and I'm not sure how many were in my age group. It was nice to break 18 minutes again after such a long time. 12 year layoffs are not recommended :) There was a slight breeze to our faces on the way out but then felt good on the return. I was able to beat the second place finisher by about a minute 15 seconds.
What would you do differently?:

Nothing. It was a fun run and treated as such.

Warm down:

Jogged for a few minutes and stretched.

What limited your ability to perform faster:

Not knowing what to expect for a sea level race. Running in Colorado does not give you the luxury of so much oxygen.
