Comments:

Started off just behind the 8 min pace marker and still had the first mileof 9:05. Did a pretty good job of keeping my pace slow early. My goal was to keep my heart reate around 165 the entire race.
What would you do differently?:

I could have went a little quicker early, my overall average heart rate was 163, so I could have pushed a little harder and still met my goal of 165 average heart rate.

Warm down:

Walk and strech. Ten walked the 3/4 mile to the hotel.

Event comments:

I was extremly pleased with my first marathon and am now looking at trying the Omaha run in September.
