Pre-race routine:

Nothing much ... 8PM start time, so very hungry. Had to wait until after the race to eat dinner.
Event warmup:

Ran about 1/2 a mile.

Comments:

Pretty fast 1st mile, but it was all downhill. 2nd mile started out downhill, but the last 1/2 mile was slightly uphill. 3rd mile was all uphill to the flat finish.

Lack of running miles.

Fun race, enjoyed the course as it was both fast and challenging.
