Swim
Comments: Just couldn't get comfortable the first 200 meters. Got much better after the first buoy. Had some sighting issues at right hand turn. Ended up in the weeds, and blocked in my swimmers from earlier wave. Had to swim at a right angle to the shore to get away from the congestion. What would you do differently?: Get into a groove earlier. Push a little harder in middle of race. Sight better. Transition 1
Comments: Long run to T1. Garmin showed a T1 distance of .44 mile. Bike
Comments: Bike was cancelled due to rain. Transition 2
Run
Comments: The rain made concrete slippery in a couple areas. The lap turn area could have been handled better. A volunteer alerting runners to the upcoming turn would have helped. What would you do differently?: Push a little harder on run. Hadn't run a 10k in a year, so I was a little unsure of my pacing. Post race
Warm down: Got some food, caught up with friends. What limited your ability to perform faster: Swim. Better, but not there yet. Event comments: Good race. Tough decision to cancel the bike, but understood. Last updated: 2012-07-10 12:00 AM

Due to the rainfall on Saturday, the bike portion of the Tri was cancelled, making this an aquathlon.
Warm-up was basically the walk to the swim start. The wind made it a little chilly, but not too bad. Swam about 50-100 meters to get warmed up before my group started.
