Subject: Hotel recommendations in Prague and Berlin?
It's been quite a few years since I've been to either city and would appreciate any thoughts.  I will only have 2 nights in each city so a convenient/interesting location is the priority.  I'm not looking to do this at the lowest possible cost but no reason to go high end. It's a casual sightseeing trip with at least 1 college age kid in tow.  Thanks for any suggestions.

Been to regions of Germany many times over the years, but not Berlin.  Ironically I am going to Berlin for my first time later this year.  I'm staying at a hotel called the Cosmo (http://www.cosmo-hotel.de).  I think the location is within an easy train ride to most of the major attractions.  

I went to Prague last year and stayed at a boutique hotel called the Leonardo which was a real gem and within walking distance to most of the great sites.  I thought the price was reasonable and I would definitely stay there again.
