The plan creator forces me to choose 4000 for the swim distance, rather than the preset 2112. When trying to finish the last step: It gives a message, "swim distance must be between 1800 and 4000" I have tried a variety of different inputs. 4000 is the only one that will work - seriously jacks with my plan.

I tried to dial it back to Olympic - thought the computer knew something I didn't. Similar result, with different preset distances.

Thx

In running, when trying to increase your distance, you don't want to add more than about 10% a week to avoid injury from overtraining. Is there a similar limit with swimming?

Have a goal when you get into the water. If your purpose is distance, then set your pace for endurance. If your objective is speed, then incorporate drills.
