Thread email notifications

Hi Ron,

1. I recently posted an item for sale in the classifieds and did not get a ping email notification when someone replied to it. I found out there was a reply when I visited the page. Shouldn't I have received an email notification for this automatically and not have to enable the email notification?  No issue recently on TT or Challenge forums.
2. Would it be possible to enable email notification for a new thread posting in a State forum? I don't visit the state forum often anymore but I just did and noticed last month I could have helped someone with finding a pool in my area. No one posted to help them out. I could see a benefit to for having email notifications in a certain forums without a lot of activity for new threads.
