Read this headline this morning: White House has no comment on Gorsuch not commenting on Roe v. Wade

Article says:

"At his confirmation hearing on Tuesday, Gorsuch said he wasn’t asked by Trump how he would rule on abortion, and he would have walked “out the door” if the president had sought a commitment on the issue. In light of this seeming contradiction, Yahoo News asked White House press secretary Sean Spicer if the president is confident Gorsuch would overturn Roe v. Wade and whether Trump still holds to that as a requirement. Spicer declined to comment directly."

Are people in the media really that stupid or do they just like to play the dumb blond card to bait people.

Let me answer for the WH.

Gorsuch is a constitutionalist. There is no "abortion right" inherent in the constitution therefore it is up to the government to decide if they want to make it legal or illegal. Federal and state governments makes a lot of things illegal that have to do with our bodies....recreational heroine, suicide, prostitution. etc.

Stupid question anyway. Of course he was not asked "how he would rule on abortion". WTH does that mean anyway?

Most hearings are a series of politicians grand standing and asking how they'd rule on various cases and the judges always respond that it would be inappropriate to respond because they could face a case in the future.

It's mostly just for show, and he'll be confirmed in no time.  I'm very impressed by him btw.
