Subject: hello
I am a beginner who has been thinking about doing a triathlon for a while and has now signed up for the Lavaman in March 2018. i look forward to getting good information and meeting new people to share this journey with as i train! i live in Anchorage, Alaska and am 48 years old.

You might try posting in the main forum, joining an open mentor group, or searching online for tri clubs in your area. Surprisingly there's one in Soldotna but I don't know about Anchorage.
