Half iron and full iron distance races require a lot of determination, patience and balance to work in the training you will need to finish. Slow incremental improvements are the key to success. Attempting to do too much too fast had a tendency to cause injuries that can keep you out for weeks and even months at a time. There are training programs available here as well as a mentor program. Take advantage of the wealth of information available here and ask question in the forums. Listen to your body! You must challenge your body and will in order to grow, but it is easy to overdo it.
