Subject: Hello fromTexasUltra newbie to the sport — I haven’t ever competed. I am looking for training and information. I want to became to triathlete to become healthier and do something that I never thought I would ever be able to do. I have a lot of weight to lose — I’ve already lost 75 pounds in 5 months — I want to lost another 50-60 before I start competing.
My goal is to complete at Super Sprint and a Sprint in 2018. (The latter part of 2018 ).
I don’t have a bike and it is insanely overwhelming trying to figure out all the stuff that triathletes are even talking about when they discuss the biking.
Needless to say, the biking portion is the most daunting to me.
I love to jog, even at my weight. And I’m been swimming since I was small, but I have never had lessons, so I have NO technique whatsoever. I am badly in need of a tri-coach, particularly for swimming and biking.
So, I look forward to learning a lot in the group! |
