Subject: New to this website but helping triathletes since 2001 Hi,
My name is Julie Donnelly and I'm a muscular therapist specializing in the treatment of chronic pain and sports injuries since 1989. My focus has been on endurance athletes, and because of this work I ended up developing self-treatments that my clients needed to continue the grueling training sessions they did every week. This work led up to my first book, "The Pain-Free Triathlete," which I published in 2001, and to the new, very updated and re-named book, "The Pain-Free Athlete." This new book reflects my work with other serious athletes from a wide range of sports.
I am a new advertiser here on BeginnerTriathlete.com, and I've also submitted articles to help athletes continue their sport by giving them tools they can use to stop pain, even during a race or long training day. It is my intention to help as many people as possible to find the source of joint pain that is being caused by tight muscles pulling on the tendons and putting a strain on the bones at the joints.
For more information about releasing muscle spasms that cause pain and sports injuries, please visit my website: www.FlexibleAthlete.com
I look forward to helping you find the source of your pain & limited range-of-motion.
Wishing you well,
julie
