Subject: RE: Bike light I work in DC & ride in/out to the burbs. Zero light... lots of deer. To give you an idea, during fall/winter, I run a 750 lumens on my handle bars & another 350 lumens on my helmet (& whatever tail lights come with the package ). My average speed is 20+ miles per hour.
